Good news! The American Red Cross will hold a blood donation drive right here in our neighborhood, at the North Rosedale Park Community House, 18445 Scarsdale, on Wednesday, June 3rd from 1-7 pm.

Prospective donors must make an appointment. Reserve your time by clicking here: All social distancing requirements will be strictly observed – masks are required and a minimum of 6 feet of distance between people will be maintained at all times, except during the process of having your history taken and during the actual blood draw procedure when the nurse will approach to draw your blood. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.

Bonus opportunity for those who have had COVID-19 and have recovered: you can donate your plasma, to be used to help patients with especially severe cases of the virus. Recovered COVID-19 patients can click here:, to fill out a form and be evaluated for eligibility to donate possibly life-saving plasma. A Red Cross employee will set you up with an appointment at a special plasma donation site. [NOTE: Donations from recovered COVID-19 patients cannot be taken at the June 3rd Community House drive.]
